The researchers have the conviction that two dog walks a day each surviving 24 minutes and three longer walks a week each lasting 30 minutes render pet owners seven hours' exercise a week.

What is more, on the other hand, individuals devoid of a dog spend an average of only one hour and 20 minutes a week exercising by going to the gym or walking or jogging. There has been another interesting fallout. In the region of 47 per cent of non-pet owners admitted to the researchers they did no exercise. The survey revealed that 86 per cent of dog owners enjoy walking.

The study report also states that merely 16 per cent of gym users actively take pleasure in it, with roughly 70 per cent perceiving gym exercise as an odd job.
