I wont be Italian coach next year: Ancelotti
London, Nov 19 : Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out cutting short his stay at the club to coach the Italian national team.
With Italy boss Marcello Lippi expected to step down from his post after next summers World Cup, Ancelotti had been touted as a possible replacement.
The Blues manager insists that he has no intention of walking away from Stamford Bridge.
I wont be Azzurri coach next year. Im Chelsea coach and I want to see how this beautiful adventure will end, The Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying.
Ancelotti also tipped African teams to do well in football World Cup in South Africa.
The World Cup is a fantastic spectacle and Ill see it live. It will be a balanced competition. I dont see a team that could stand out over the others, Ancelotti said.
In South Africa the climate will be fresh and, theoretically, it's an advantage for the game. I wouldnt be surprised if an African side could arrive in the last four, he added.
