From time immemorial this very relation has been witnessed either to destruct or construct empires and even families and even in this high-tech age when everything almost has come under the sway of gadgets, the saga is unabated. All one woman has to do is to bare herself in a night out and as per the newly concluded study, if any woman cares to parade just 40 per cent of her flesh, she can woo Mr. Right with no trouble. Do you find any pungent smell of eroticism in this? Perhaps not, as the moral fiber between Occident and Orient differ to a large extent.
Let’s get back to the study then. The research was conducted under the auspices of leading researchers at Leeds University and in accordance with their views, women are supposed to wear an outfit which reveals 40 per cent of her skin. This does provide just the right amount of attention. As per the group, for the sake of poring over, they did send four female colleagues to one of the city's biggest nightclubs. There, they stood on a balcony looking out over the dance floor, and noted what the female clubbers were wearing and how many times they were approached by men.
Each and every detail obtained by them was taped on Dictaphones hidden in handbags. Seventy hours of recordings did state clearly that a man was much more likely to ask a woman to dance than vice versa.
In particular, as indicated by the study, women who swanked about 40 per cent of their skin were approached by twice as many men as those who were more covered up.
