London, Nov 9 : British actress Kate Winslet is worth 60million pounds to the economy of the UK.
The 34-year-old beauty was among the celebs audited by the UK Film Council to estimate their salaries, public profile and box-office effect on entertainment sales as well as the tourism industry, reports the Daily Star.
However, the Oscar winner took the compliment lightly as a friend revealed.
According to a pal of The Reader actress, she found it both flattering and very funny.
