Acer Incorporated brings out three novel smartphones
Acer Incorporated, internationally renowned computing device player, has brought to the fore three new smartphones, beTouch E 101 in the Indian market, beTouch E200 and neoTouchS200.
Even though innovations from time to time are not new for Acer, experts suggest that at this time a new endeavor is being perceived. It is to be noted that the E101 model is competitively priced at Rs 11,900 and is targeted for the youth segment. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, is touch-screen enabled, comes preloaded with IE and Live Messenger.
What are the traits of beTouch E200 model then? Well, nothing as such is known yet but the E200 model for the internet savvy has been priced at 17,900. Nevertheless, the model promises to bring to the fore easy navigation, search and messaging. On the other hand, the neoTouch model is priced at Rs 35,000 and is 3G ready and has also been found to support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Qualcomm 1GHz Sanpdragon processor. Speaking on this recent feat, Richard Tan, Country Head, India – Smart Handheld Business Group and Sales Manager – Asia Pacific, Acer stated very clearly that the smartphone market in India is getting accessible to many with prices coming down and for that reason the company is looking to launch affordable products for the market mass.
