Give more time for your meals, eat slowly. Take the time to chew your food at least 30 times before you swallow. There is a scientific reason for it. It takes about twenty minutes for the stomach to signal the brain that it is full. If you eat too fast you may over eat and even stop eating before the signal is sent. If you tend to eat faster you eat frequently between meals. So the best bet would be to eat slowly.

Drink lots of water

Believe it or not drinking lots of water can help burn fat off your body. On an average we drink about 8 glasses if water or more per day. Try drinking more than this; remember weight loss cannot occur without enough water.

Add Herbs and Spices

Many people switch to low fat or fat free foods in addition to eating less when they are planning to lose weight. While this is a good idea removing fat from food can change the flavour as fat adds a lot of flavour in food. To compensate add herbs and spices to your food a seasoning to regain the flavour that has been lost through the removal of fat from your diet.

Eat hot and spicy foods

Eat more hot and spicy foods. In addition to adding herbs and spices to existing foods try to eat more chillies and other forms of spicy foods as it has been clinically proven that spicy foods like chillies and peepers increase the human metabolism by as much as up to forty percent.

Last but not the least

Cut out caffeine from your diet as it leads to a rise in the levels of insulin in the body which prevents the burning of fat.
