Bosses can be less stressful when compared with Spouses

Would you prefer to spend more time at work than at home? If yes, you are not alone. A poll of over 3000 people in Britain has found that most people feel their spouses give them more stress than even their bosses. The survey has thrown up this and several other interesting findings.

The poll conducted by electronics and healthcare manufacturer Philips, also found that women are twice more likely to worry about obesity than even the impact of cancer. In fact half the women said that they were concerned about their weight and health issues compared to 27 percent who said the same regarding their earnings.

Men, on the other hand were found to be almost equally worried about health and salary.

As regards to stress, 58 percent said that their spouse gave them most stress while just 43 percent felt this way about their boss. The poll has revealed that 18 percent of the women were more likely to have their blood pressure soaring as compared to 12 percent of the men.

Optimism about longevity was also high amongst the respondents. Most were hopeful about the future and almost half the participants believed that they would live beyond the average life expectancy of 79 years.

Some, almost 3 percent believed that they would live to be hundred and assumed that in the case of major illness, medical research would have advanced to develop a cure for most illnesses.

If Spouses are more stressful than the Bosses what will happen in the case where the Spouse is the Boss?
