Hewlett Packard launches series of Compaq Notebooks in India

Hewlett Packard has launched nine new Compaq Notebooks in India with price range between 26,900 INR to 48,900 INR. The new laptops are stylish and trendy specially targeted for the youth.
Apart from several important software’s pre-loaded the laptop features a finger print reader, blue ray drive, backlit keyboard, a build in TV tuner card and HDMI 1.3.
According to Rajiev Grover, Director, the laptop has been designed with the young generation in mind. Apart from the speed and performance the looks were also given equal importance. Hence the 3D drive guard and the flush glass finish which gives the laptop a unique look, makes it attractive yet sturdy.
To boost up sales HP India is planning to expand its retail in 600 cities with over 6000 dealers by end of 2008.
Consumers can drop in at any of the HP stores or large retailers where the new laptop series will be made available.
