Aliph, today released new version of its second generation Jawbone Bluetooth headset. The new headset is an improved version of the previous Jawbone.

Loaded with the Noise Assassin technology and a 50 percent reduction in size, the Bluetooth headset is available for $130. The Jawbone 2 has sleek look and the model is available in gold, silver and black color. However only the black color model is currently available.

Aliph was the first company to come up with a noise canceling model implemented in the Jawbone Bluetooth headset launched in the year 2006. The new Jawbone 2 also features the same noise canceling technology.

The vibration and movements from the users jawbone are recorded by small plastic nub which rests on the user’s cheek. The data is then complied to determine what the user is saying. Background noises are then filtered out. This is a patented design also know as Jawbone Noise Assassin. So now you know why its named Jawbone.

Jawbone 2 can fully charge in about one hour. A single charge can last for 8 days in standby mode and talk time is up to 4 hours.
